Angels started a day to honor deployed heroes and their families on
October 26, 2006 called Day of the Deployed. We asked Americans to
reaffirm their patriotism and allegiance to our flag and country, and
to honor our brave men and women in uniform who are selflessly putting
their lives on the line to protect and preserve our way of life and to
support the families left behind. Most governors across the nation have

| Troy
is carrying with him a several custom Louisville Slugger Bats that he
is getting signed by mayors, governors, police chiefs and others to
help Soldiers' Angels. He will present these bats to the White House
upon his arrival in May of 2011. |
