Little steps - Events for kids & schools
Troy
loves to have schools participate. Come out and visit the chase vehicle
as it links up with Troy and Emmie. Kids will get to learn more about
the hike and all the hard work it takes to travel across America.
Step up to the plate – events at MLB and Minor League baseball parks
Troy
will make appearances at 20 baseball parks. Bring your entire family
and help support this Iraq war veteran's dream to help military
families.
The White House Steps
One
way to help military families in need, is to make sure that they are
not forgotten. In an effort to create sustained awareness of
their service and sacrifice, Troy will help Soldiers’ Angels in
their bid to declare a National "Day of the Deployed." On his
journey, Troy will be carrying a custom Lousivelle slugger bat for
mayors and govenors to sign. Troy will present this to the White
House on May 11th. Several mayor have already pledged their support and
signature. Awareness matters. Many Americans don’t know that when
a serviceperson is deployed, it is truly the whole family that
serves. You can help by coordinating with your local Mayor and
Governor to get their signature on the piece of history!

Military families in need of financial assistance through
Soldiers' Angels' financial assistance program.
The Hike for our Heroes Team and
Soldiers' Angels will be working hand in hand to help military families. 100% of your donation will go toward families when they struggle to pay bills and need items or care packages to make ends meet.
Soldiers' Angels is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) non-profit with over 225,000
members providing aid and comfort to the men and women of the United
States Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, veterans and their
