DRUM COMPANIES HAVE STEPPED UP TO SUPPORT THE JOURNEY FOR MILITARY FAMILIES
These companies have donated the drums and equipment that will be played in street and park performances in the 25 large cities along the route. There he will meet up with each of these corporation's sponsored drummers for performances.
Sabian Cymbals
Have donated 3 HHX cymbals that will also be performed on at street performance and benefit shows.
Sabian also donated a full set of AAX cymbals to the USO in Iraq where Troy was stationed during his 2008- 2009 deployment
Yamaha Drums
Have donated an entire drum trap set that will be performed with at street performance and benefit shows.
Latin Percussion Have donated the hand percussion (Bata drum and djembe) that Troy will strap to himself while hiking.
Promark Drum Sticks Have
donated the drum sticks that will be used and sold to help raise money.
Each pair will be engraved by Louisville Slugger and autographed by
Troy and Emmie. Purchase here.
Troy will be using this drum glove during the hike made by Promark in conjunction with Bionic Gloves. These gloves are ergonomically designed to reduce wear and tear on a
drummers hands and make playing drums feel great without losing stick
control. Troy says "It feels like a second layer of skin that I can
abuse more than normal without worrying about damage"
Evans Drum Heads
Have
donated the perfect heads that will endure weather on the drum set.
These heads are truly the best sounding and most durable that we have
ever played on.
Farmer Foot Drums
Has
donated a rare instrument that Troy will perform to crowds with. It is
a full drum trap set made into a fully functional foot drum. This drum
will work excellent when we can't climb hillsides with an entire set.
When Troy enters Colorado, Pete Farmer the creator of the Foot Drum
will hike along. Stay tuned for when they connect and perform in the
mountains.
